The Pediatric Department of the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse has developed an innovative program that advocates for children in our community and teaches advocacy skills to pediatric residents. The program includes an introduction to the community and its resources, optional individualized case advocacy projects and mentoring by faculty members."
